Mechanism of Action (MOA)

TTO Thermal Toothpaste works through a combination of herbal and mineral ingredients:

  • Potassium Nitrate (KNO₃): Desensitizes dental nerves by blocking transmission of pain stimuli.
  • Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia): Broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity.
  • Propolis: Natural resin with antibacterial and healing properties for oral tissues.
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil: Promotes mucosal healing and reduces inflammation.
  • Echinacea Extract: Enhances local immunity and tissue repair.
  • Geothermal Thermal Water: Rich in minerals that support enamel remineralization and oral freshness.

Together, these components help reduce sensitivity, support gum and tooth health, and maintain oral cleanliness.

Pharmacokinetics
  • Absorption: Minimal systemic absorption; acts topically in the oral cavity.
  • Distribution: Localized to teeth, gums, and mucosa.
  • Metabolism: Herbal extracts are partially metabolized if swallowed in trace amounts.
  • Excretion: Negligible systemic elimination.
  • Onset of Action: Pain relief typically observed within a few days of regular use.

  • Pregnancy: Considered safe for topical oral use. Ingredients like tea tree oil and propolis are not systemically absorbed in significant amounts.
  • Lactation: Low risk; no harmful secretion into breast milk anticipated.
